Our Pilgrimage Continues

Pilgrims Crossing Borders began in 2015 as a relay with participants from 15 countries. People from all walks of life took part in that event where meetings between different faiths and beliefs were essential. Together we walked all the way from Norway and Calabria to Rome in approximately four months.

Pilgrims Open Horizons
Pilgrims Open Horizons was yet another pilgrim relay from Oslo to Rome. We started in Oslo on the 3rd of May 2022. Our pilgrims reached Rome on the 13th of October after nearly six months and 3,200 km on the road.Congratulations everyone 😊

Our pilgrimage embraces ideals of dialogue and fraternization - and the urgent need to protect our environment.

The Via Romea is marked with a red continous line from Stade to Rome.
